Got here a few minutes after 11 breakfast stops at 11 so went with the fish and chips. Excellent choice food was tasty. Atmosphere is great on patio looking at the gulf. Other than the cokes being $3 each ( beach prices) place was great. We will be back.

Forgettable burger. Clearly only reason you'd eat here is you're hungry at the beach and don't want to lose your parking space.

Cute little place to stop for a quick bite to eat. I think the reviews on here are a little harsh. I'm guessing they are from people without patience and serving experience. The service was slow but they servers acknowledged that they would be with us in a few minutes. Servers were friendly and there was only two people running everything including the store. Give your hard-working service folks a break! We had the coconut shrimp, steak tacos and fish and chips. All were delicious! I didn't love the French fries here but that is to be expected at a little shop that is probably using frozen fries. There was a large parking lot on either side of the shack that charged $1.50 per hour. It was credit card only. If you are looking for a nice place to relax and enjoy the ocean view I'd stop here. Just know you are in for nice and slow meal. Not such a bad deal!

Went there for breakfast. Service fine, food average or a little under. Pass on the grits. Have to pay to park in their lot as its beach access. Nice outdoor eating, very casual.

Recently remodeled with new kitchen, new owners, new chef. Best fish & chips on the beach. Draft & bottled brews. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Lots of outdoor covered tiki seating with Gulf view. Mark Mann on Friday evenings is a blast, with energy reminded me of Jerry Lee Lewis. Rental beach chairs, umbrellas, and floatation toys nearby. Reasonable metered public parking.

Driving down the outer beaches in the Clearwater/Saint Petersburg area, we were looking for a terrace on the gulf side and we were surprise that there was almost none! In fact driving southbound, we almost gave up... every places were on the inner bay side, the outer side was all condos, houses and motels that is until we bumped in the Madeira Beach Snack Shack. The location is really what makes this place great. The have a large terrace right on the beach! The place is completely unpretentious. It's great to sit down, have a drink while the sun comes down in the gulf and listen to live entertainment with a mixed crowd of locals and visitors. A nice place to relax and enjoy the coast!

Had the fish & chips with a pina colotta. Live music was happening as well - Thursday evening. Great spot to watch sunset & my food was great. No issues with service but we were in no hurry just chill'in to the tunes.

Went yesterday for breakfast at 10am, took a whole hour for breakfast to be served. We were very worried about our car getting ticketed because you have to pay to park. We were very close to just walking out. Food was decent but not worth the panic of possibly getting a parking ticket.

Food here was good. The location is fabulous. The service is horrible!! Waited 20 minutes before we were even acknowledged and then waited another 10 before our order was taken. I was upset and let the waiter know how long it had been. He took our order and then a few minutes later another waiter asked if he could help us. We said we had put in our order. After another few minutes 2nd waiter came again. I complained and he apologized and said they were on "beach time". Funny how it was only our table on "beach time", since other tables that had come in after us had drinks and food!!! We were visiting and so we will not be back.

I have tried to visit this restaurant twice and have had rude service both times. The first time, we waited over an hour for our meal and ended up leaving. No one was apologetic for the wait and seemed flabbergasted that we would want to leave without eating. The kitchen was visible and filthy, with the cook wiping sweat off his brow and then putting his dirty hands back on the food. The second time we opted to try their ice cream and were greeted rudely. The cashier walked away after we placed our order and went outside, serving two tables. She didn't tell us where she was going or when she would make our ice cream, just up and walked away. I am done trying to eat at this place, you shouldn't waste your time either.

The food was great but the service SUCKED!!!!!! Our drinks came out well after we finished our meal and they were not comped. Also my sisters margarita (which was out after food was done as well) was all ice-- she asked to exchange it for a beer and she was told she had to pay for half of it because she drank some "per the manager". Really?

The steak tacos were very good. $15 bucket of 16oz buds not a bad deal for the beach. Live music Thursday and weekends. This Saturday's guy not so good but have heard others are. But sitting on the beach with beer is fun.

Would choose no star if there was an option. My young daughter and her friends ate there today and the service was horrible. Very disappointed to hear my daughters experience, with her hard earned money.

A REAL SHAME....I love the location, it is really cute, and the food is actually pretty good. The MAJOR issue with this place is that every single time I have gone there I have experienced a dirty table with crumbs and liquids, sticky menus, all the tables are constantly a mess with condiments and paper towels knocked over and just left like that....some workers just literally walking past all the dirty tables and pulled out disheveled chairs...NOT wiping them down even after I mentioned that it may be a good idea...I couldn't believe it!!! FORGET using the ladies room! That was the last straw for me - it was absolutely filthy. The owner really needs to get his staff in line or they won't have a business there for long.

A great place to grab a cold beer, some great food and to catch the sunset! Awesome service and great views of the beach. What else is there?

Also know as Archibald Park....I have never eaten hear so I cant say anything about the food. I do know that its a great little beach that has improved so much ove the passed year. Lots of families, not so much a HOT SPOT for partiers. There is a huge deck and new volley ball courts. You can take a cooler with you and you dont have to buy their beer. If your a resident like me, you can get a parking sticker and you dont have to pay for parking. But it does fill up pretty quick during season. Its a relaxing kinda beach!
